Psycology in the Church

Psychological thinking has invaded the church. While the world is running away from psychology and is now admitting that it does not work, the church of God is embracing it with open arms. So many pastors are sending their sheep to so called Christian counselors. The idea is that pastors are not qualified for any real problems.

So sad that Christians will turn to the thoughts of men when they can turn to the thoughts of God. In the Word of God, the Father has provided everything we need for life and for godliness. Can the Bible address the needs of hyperactive children? How about anxiety and stress? Does the Bible have the answer for depression and other problems in life?

The Bible not only has the answers for these issues, but it sufficiently teaches me how to live my life, not just to survive, but to thrive. Psychology is a cheap substitute! Go to the Word of God. So, when you have problems, rather than a psychology expert, you need a person who knows the Word of God and lives it out.

In Christ,
